      <description><![CDATA[Everyone has different needs as far as training, stretching etc. Some of it is running style. Some people run with short strides and heavy steps, others have longer strides or are lighter on their feet. It varies. Race strategy can also come into play. Do you start fast or slow? Do you burn out early or finish with too much leftover? Are you winded or is your setback just with leg cramps? Prerace meals can also be a factor. You need to know what works best for you.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[How much training do other programs, train their kids? My program does 5-6 miles every day, M-F. My legs still get cramped, through the first mile, I am trying to stretch more. What do other coaches or teams do? Please respond, any info is helpful.]]></description>
